Gambling Should Be Fun,
Not a Problem

At pak355, responsible gambling is not an afterthought — it is built into how the Platform works. Whether you are following Pakistan cricket, watching PSL T20 fixtures or exploring casino games, we want every session to remain enjoyable, informed and within limits you control. This page explains our tools, our commitments and where to turn if you ever need help.

We Take Responsible Gambling Seriously

Gambling is a legitimate form of adult entertainment when it stays recreational. The problems start when it stops being a choice. pak355 is committed to giving every registered user the information, tools and support needed to keep their gambling behaviour healthy — and to make it easy to step back when needed.

Our responsible gambling framework covers four pillars: Prevention (age verification and eligibility checks before an Account is activated), Control (player-set limits you can activate at any time), Intervention (automated monitoring and staff training to recognise at-risk play patterns), and Support (clear guidance on recognised help resources for players who need them).

Important notice for Pakistani users: Online gambling is subject to the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and related Pakistani law. pak355 does not claim to be licensed, approved or regulated by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority. You are solely responsible for understanding the laws applicable in your jurisdiction before registering. This page does not constitute legal advice.

Quick Self-Check

Ask yourself these questions honestly before your next session:

1
Am I gambling within a budget I can afford to lose?

Gambling stakes should always come from disposable income — never from rent, bills or money set aside for essentials.

2
Am I chasing losses from a previous session?

Chasing losses is one of the clearest early warning signs. Each session should start fresh with a pre-set budget.

3
Has gambling started affecting my daily life?

If gambling is impacting your work, relationships or mental wellbeing, please review the support resources on this page.

4
Have I set a session time or loss limit today?

Setting limits before you start — not mid-session — is the most effective protective habit you can build.

Responsible Gambling Tools Available on pak355

These tools are accessible from your Account settings at any time. You do not need to contact support to activate most of them — you are in control.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your pak355 Account. Limits take effect immediately. Increases require a mandatory cooling-off period before they apply.

Loss Limits

Cap the maximum net loss you can sustain over a chosen period. Once the limit is reached, betting and gaming activity is automatically suspended until the period resets.

Session Time Limits

Define how long a single gambling session can last. You will receive an in-Platform notification as you approach your limit, and your session will close automatically once the time is up.

Reality Checks

Enable periodic on-screen reminders showing how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered in the current session — a simple but effective way to stay grounded.

Cool-Off Period

Take a short break from gambling — 24 hours, 48 hours, one week or one month — without fully closing your Account. During a cool-off, you cannot log in or place any bets.

Self-Exclusion

Request a longer-term self-exclusion of six months, one year, three years or permanent closure. During self-exclusion, your Account is suspended and all marketing communications are stopped immediately.

Strictly 18+ — No Exceptions

pak355 is an adults-only Platform. We require all users to be at least 18 years of age, or the higher minimum age required by the operator's license jurisdiction, before registering an Account. This is a firm requirement — not a guideline.

During registration, you will be required to confirm your age. As part of our KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process, we may ask you to provide a valid government-issued identity document — such as a Pakistan National Identity Card (CNIC), passport or driver's licence — before your Account is fully activated or before your first withdrawal is processed.

Underage gambling is illegal. If we have reason to believe that a user is under the minimum required age, we will immediately suspend their Account, withhold any winnings and report the matter to the appropriate authority. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has accessed the Platform, contact our support team without delay.

We also recommend that parents and guardians use parental control software to prevent minors from accessing any online gambling or gaming site. Please note that local laws in Pakistan may impose additional restrictions beyond the 18+ age requirement.

18+

Adults only — or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. Local laws may restrict gambling.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually. Recognising the early signs — in yourself or someone you care about — is the first and most important step toward getting help. None of the signs below mean you are beyond help. They mean it is time to act.

Remember: Gambling should always feel like a choice, not a compulsion. If it feels like you cannot stop, the tools and support on this page are here for exactly that reason.

Chasing Losses

Increasing bet sizes or session frequency specifically to recover money lost in previous sessions. This cycle tends to accelerate losses rather than reverse them.

Gambling with Essential Money

Using funds earmarked for rent, bills, groceries or family expenses — such as a monthly household budget in Karachi or Lahore — to fund gambling activity.

Concealing Gambling Activity

Hiding the amount of time or money spent gambling from family members, friends or colleagues — a common sign that the activity has moved beyond healthy recreation.

Inability to Stop or Cut Down

Repeatedly trying to reduce gambling activity or set a budget and finding it impossible to follow through — even when you genuinely intend to.

Neglecting Responsibilities

Missing work commitments, neglecting family responsibilities or withdrawing from social activities in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar to gamble instead.

Emotional Distress Linked to Gambling

Experiencing anxiety, irritability, depression or restlessness when not gambling, or gambling as a primary way to manage stress or emotional discomfort.

How to Set and Manage Your Limits

All limit controls are available from your Account settings panel once you are logged in. Here is what each limit type does and how it works in practice.

Deposit Limit

Sets the maximum total amount (in PKR / Rs) you can deposit in a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day rolling period. For example, a PKR 10,000 weekly deposit limit means you cannot add more than Rs 10,000 across all deposits in any rolling 7-day window. Reductions apply immediately; increases have a mandatory review delay.

Loss Limit

Caps the net loss you can sustain over a chosen period. Once your net loss reaches the set amount — for example PKR 5,000 in a day — all betting and gaming will be paused automatically until the period resets. Winnings that are subsequently wagered and lost count toward the limit.

Session Time Limit

Defines the maximum uninterrupted time you can spend on the Platform in a single login session — from 15 minutes up to 8 hours. An on-screen alert appears 5 minutes before your limit expires. When the limit is reached, your session closes and you are logged out automatically.

Cool-Off Period

A temporary Account suspension of your choice: 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During this period you cannot log in, place bets or receive promotional communications. The cool-off cannot be reversed once activated — it must run its full course.

Self-Exclusion

A longer-term Account suspension available in durations of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or permanent. Self-exclusion removes access to all gambling features, stops all marketing, and cannot be reversed during the chosen period. Permanent self-exclusion results in Account closure. To request self-exclusion, contact our support team via Live Chat or email.

Pro tip: Set your limits before your first session, not after a loss. The most effective use of these tools is proactive, not reactive. If you are unsure what limits to set, start conservatively — you can always review them later during a calm, sober moment away from the Platform.

Honest Questions Worth Asking Yourself

The following questions are adapted from widely used responsible gambling self-assessment frameworks. There is no score — these are prompts to encourage honest reflection. If several of these resonate with you, please consider using the tools above or reaching out for support.

1

Have you ever gambled with money that was meant for essential expenses like rent, bills or groceries?

2

Have you ever borrowed money — from friends, family or a lender — specifically to fund gambling?

3

Have you ever felt the need to bet more and more money to get the same level of excitement?

4

Have you ever tried to win back money you lost, even after telling yourself you would stop?

5

Have you ever lied to someone close to you about how much time or money you spend gambling?

6

Has gambling ever caused you to feel anxious, irritable or depressed — either while playing or when you are not able to play?

7

Have you ever missed work, school or an important family commitment because of gambling?

8

Have you ever considered gambling as a way to solve a financial problem or escape from stress?

If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to activate a cool-off period or contact our support team to discuss self-exclusion options. You can also reach out to the support organisations listed in the section below.
